The large Orcio Urns are painstakingly hand-painted in Montelupo, Tuscany, using the famous rustic Tuscan design called Caffagiolo. These traditional urns are typically displayed alone, but they can also be used for planting a variety of plants, including palms, olive trees, and lemon trees.

These items are entirely hand made and hand painted according to the traditional methods of Italian craftsmanship.
Possible little flaws, irregularities and porosity of the glaze are a peculiarity of the hand-made process and should be considered a quality of the terracotta pot.
The vase could be damaged by frost, so it should be covered.
